Sensitive Skin Care – Remember the Word “Simplicity”

Sensitive skin is thin and prone to redness, tingling and itching. The biggest taboo in care is blindly superimposing skin care products. Remember “simple skin care” to slowly repair the skin barrier. First of all, simplify the skin care routine: only keep the four steps of “cleansing + hydration + moisturizing + sunscreen”, remove extra essences, masks and exfoliating products to reduce skin burden. Secondly, choose mild products: prioritize “additive-free” products without fragrance, alcohol, preservatives and pigments, the simpler the ingredients, the better; avoid using products containing irritating ingredients such as acids and retinol. In addition, pay attention to daily protection: avoid frequent replacement of skin care products; before using a new product, do a skin test behind the ear or on the inner arm, observe for 24-48 hours, and use it only if there is no abnormality; avoid exposure to the sun, alternating hot and cold stimulation, reduce the frequency of makeup to avoid makeup irritating the skin; eat less spicy, stimulating and allergenic foods in the diet, and eat more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins to help repair the skin.
